Quick question about the scan tool

Post by skid542 »

I finally got my lazy ass together and got a couple old printer cables off my friend. My question - is the wire in the printer cord sufficient for this application as in is the wire just carrying a small signal or does it need to be a bigger gauge? Thanks in advance.

The tiny printer cord wire should be fine. It's carrying about the same current that it would if it were actually connected to a printer.
