3 94 SS electrical issues

1.my steering wheel mounted cruis button and the horn buttons dont work.

any idea why?

is it that connector that they share w/the airbag?

i dont have a airbag light on.

2.also the CD player starts out fine and then after a few tracks some static like noise (sounds like a crappy record player) starts showing up and then it just stops playing and shuts off.

the car has been rallycrossed alot so the cd player could be dirty. can it be cleaned/serviced? or is my time and money going to be better spent on a aftermarket head unit?

i really like the look of the stock radio and i am not a steroe junkie i just want to listen to cd's.

3. the parking brake light doesnt always go off when it is released. i know for sure it is released. then eventually it goes off.

My brother broke the roll connector in his steering wheel on his 2.5RS (for the airbag), and found that his horn and cruise wouldn't work either. But he had an airbag light being shown then. I don't know if there's a separate connector somewhere for them.

Maybe try a cleaning disc for the cd player? Or if you're up to it, you might be able to remove the cover and blow it out with compressed air.

The parking brake light should also indicate you're low on brake fluid. You may need to flush the fluid for new stuff. A couple of people on here, myself included, have found this to be the solution.
