My sunroof is having problems. I'd say that .2% of the time it tries to open. Most of the time you push the button and nothing happens. Sometimes when you push it, it slides very slowly back but feels like it may get stuck. I have two ideas on this. Either the motor most be going out or the buttons and contacts in the thing are corroded and or broken. Any ideas and how would I go about changing the sun roof motor if I need one?
Second is the taillights. The bulbs are fine and yet I cannot get the reverse lights to come on ever. It there a fuse perhaps that controlls the lighting?
Thanks - Justin

I'd check to make sure the back-up light switch is plugged in properly at the transmission. I've encountered this problem many times in the past. On two different occasions it turned out to be corrosion at the light socket, once I never did figure it out, but most of the time it just a matter of being sure everything is plugged in properly and clean at contact points.
As for the sunroof thing, beats me.

Have you pulled your sunroof assembly to see if there is something obstructing the path?J-MoNeY wrote:Either the motor most be going out or the buttons and contacts in the thing are corroded and or broken. Any ideas and how would I go about changing the sun roof motor if I need one?
There is actually a reverse "switch" in your transmission. I'd check to see if one of the wires has left contact. The bulbs are fine and yet I cannot get the reverse lights to come on ever.
