lol, here's another. I've been getting really quite poopy mileage lately. Even with nearly 100 miles of freeway driving on each tank, the best I've been able to squeeze out of the turbo has been around 17 mpg. I changed the plugs and wires a few weeks ago, and have plans to change out the fuel filter soon as well. I dunno what's causing such bad mileage. Any suggestions on what could fix it?

The best I can squeeze is 21 from mine, so don't feel so bad.

Probably not what you want to hear but an injector that was crappin the bed caused worsening gas mileage for a while before it really went bad. Fix simpler things first of course. Try some STP placebo treatment, I mean fuel system cleaner.

130!
and 360hp.
(I WISH)
My mileage isn't any better or worse, really. . . strange.
300hp and about an average of 230 miles a tank with mixed driving. (About 13 gallons a tank)

I get 200 miles if I'm lucky on a tank of 93, and that's usually with the gas light blinding me.
But that's also on WRX sized tires.

I also get horrendous gas mileage. I haven't had time to check it but I know it's like 180 or 150. How do you know your injectors are faulty again and I how much do they usually cost?

I get anywhere between 15 and 17 miles per gallon on a tank depending on how agressive I drive. Seems your not alone with your crappy gas mileage, Laurel.

Winter Gas?
And are you guys actually figuring out your mileage with the trip meter and complete fillups or guestimating it with your brain? Guesstimating completey sucks when it comes to mileage. And miles on a tank isn't much better, people fillup with different space on the needle.
But just to compare. I get about 200 miles when really naughty. 230 when naughty is mixed with nice (highway) and over 300 before the light turns on when all highway (still being naughty, but it is accelerating from a stop that kills the gas).

Hmm, wow. My Leggy is pretty heavily modified and my last fill up has lasted the better part of the last 5 1/2 months.

No, it's a guesstimation but when you have 130 and you're on E it's safe to say you won't get much more. I ought to just carry a couple gallon gas tank around and drive it till it runs out, to be certain.
