Monster Garage is......cool?

Post by G-reg »

There's a new one on. They have this little mini Isetta thingy, that they are going to mount to a shifter cart frame, and power with a turboed Hyabusa(sp?) engine. Thats F'in cool.

They didn't make the time, so it was smoked with a 50cal. And it wasn't an Isetta, it just looked kinda looked like one. To answer my own question, Monster Garage is not cool.

It was a car from the PEEL corp. It was uglier than sin. I started watching it but then went and got dinner.

How did they fail?

Peel Trident?

I hated that show since they wrecked a mint '67 Cadillac hearse. It was a stupid project idea, the crew were a bunch of pussies, and they shredded it when they didn't finish it in time.

It looked nothing like an Isetta. I have a strange desire for one of those! Along with a Metropolitan, Amphicar, a "real" mini cooper, and of coarse, Subaru 360. :D

They failed because they didn't do much work. Too much karting and dicking around with tattoos. Combine that with the fact that none of them had ever worked with a turbo, and the lack of direction, and it was pretty clear they'd fail.

There's a mint 360 inside at a local lot - no idea on the price though. I agree; butchering an Isetta would be tragic.

They had a little trouble with the project. Too many small errors.
But bad midget jokes aside, they probably would have failed if they were just turboing a 'busa.
