k so im driving home and getting off the freeway, give it a little gas and hit that pesky thing called ptfb. suddleny i hear this pop like the sound a empty bottle makes when it hits the ground with the cap.
i figured i popped an intercooler pipe off.
give it some gas to check and no dice all pipes still on and the car still boosts.
floor it and it pulls nicely to an extent. nothing really feels wrong just something in my mind is saying something might be up.
i just had my pipes ceramic coated inside and out. and i put on all but 1 tbolt clamps. the 1 wouldnt fit. and i cant get one too. im gonna try to double up on the wormgear thats the first clamp off the turbo but i doubt that thats the porblem.
before the intercooler didnt make any noise. now it sounds really loud like i should think it would. like if you put a leaf blower next to a fence and the air thats distorted makes the sound charistic of a windy day downtown with all the sky scrapers. but at the same time it sounds like an air leak its so loud. theres only one problem with that and thats that ive had bad air leaks before and the car wouldnt drive.
did i detonate? missfire? afterfire while on throtle?knock?
this is just weird. and now i have this nasty rattle i cant locate either. i think my bov is rubbing on the hood but only the valve shows signs. thats a fairly easy fix if that is the case though.

sooo thats bad???? what exactly will too much of it will do and what causes it. ive been driving arond for a long time with no problem and i dont want them to start.
