Make sure every strut came with a strut top bolt. They are completely different from the stock bolts, they arent even the same size! (17mm and 19mm).

I know your joy. My new GR2s came yesterday. Now I can't decide if I should change them now or save up for a few more weeks and get some new springs and top mounts to go with them? Decisions, Decisions. I'll probably change them though. I'm just too excited to get off my tired ones I have now!

Indeed. . . .

You can either perform TWO 3-hour jobs. . .

Or one 1-hour job OFF THE CAR, plus one 1-hour job to throw them on once together. :)

Believe me. . . after doing springs and shocks on at least 5 cars in the last 12 months. . . it's not worth doing the same job twice.

All my thoughts EXACTLY! The thing is that I have an extra car until Sunday so it would be really convenient (and it's still kinda warm outside here since my garage is full of crap) to do it this week. My longest amount of time off between work or school is about 4 hours worth of daylight BETWEEN work and school on Thursdays so an extra car would allow for a slower more meticulous job. But I'm going to wait. 198K miles on springs and top mounts I'm sure they're ready to be changed anyhow.
Laurel - Good luck on changing everything. Let us know how it goes.

That I am!

I'd do them in my garage, but we're building a room in the corner, so everything's all piled up around my workbench/toolbox/car parking area. I'll probably roll a bit north and use my friends garage, plus, he has air tools  then get an alignment on my way home. :)
