Spy Hunter Subaru

Post by evolutionmovement »

Isdera Imperator or Subaru Legacy? I had this thought while watching heavy smoke billow from my exhaust after Sea Foaming the engine: why couldn't I set up a system to ingest it when I wanted (like when some Ram-driving tough guy is riding on your ass because he's late and trying to make his guest speaker spot at the small penis convention - Tonight's lecture, the fourth in a series: Dealing with your gay lover)?

Would be easy enough. All I need is to T in a tube to the manifold or PCV system that goes to a can of fogging juice with a solenoid switchable from the cockpit and a check valve for when I go turbo and the manifold is pressurized (unless I tie in to the PCV system). This would only work under manifold vacuum, but it may be interesting. Since the smoke comes out the exhaust it would look like the engine just blew to anyone seeing it. Only thing I can see is getting the tube size right.

This and a switch to turn off my tails and or brake lights or maybe some machine guns and an ejector seat and a ...

I can always try fogging oil if the engine additives stop working. I don't imagine I'd be using this often anyway. I'd probably use it for its intended purpose in the end.

I'd like to run a switch to my brake lights so I can flip them on........

And If you are running cats I think the oil idea is bad. Also on the oil, do it after the engine in the exhaust. Ever seen a car with a bad turbo seal......? Big ass smoke screen.

I worked with a girl at K-Mart in hs whose bf had his reverse lights on a switch. A little bit more effective than the brake lights, though a bit more illegal and hazardous I'm sure.

I've thought about running a small tank of RC airplane smoke oil down to a nipple into your muffler. A simple gravity feed would probably be enough but you can get small electric pumps specifically for this pretty cheap. I used to fly gas (no electric and gliders) and the stuff works pretty well if you preheat it, wrap copper tubing the exhaust pipe a few times before the muffler and you'll be set. You'll get a nice dense white smoke like a headgasket failure. That's my plan at least.

The troop landing craft that the Marines used from the 50's until fairly recently (they may still use them) dumped diesel fuel on the exhaust manifold to create smoke screens. It was very effective too. It poured out like crazy.

I seem to remember reading about a smokescreen kit in the "new products" section of a recent issue to Sport Compact Car.

Or just sprinkle water onto the exhaust manifolds to make a lot of steam -- environmentally friendly too!

I read of a guy who drove his vintage Bentley from China to Europe or something and he escaped bandits in the Afghan desert with a smoke screen that dripped oil on the exhaust.

So if we run seafoam through several times it would clean out all of the carbon?

Sounds like Indiana Jones or something there Steve :).

Yes, the the more you run the cleaner the white smoke coming out the back gets. I'm sure there's a limit though and it won't get all the carbon out but most of it.

I don't see burning all the carbon out as a problem. It's not like I'm transporting gov. officials and actually need a smokescreen.

I was literally laughing till it hurt while reading this

Couldn't you just run an oil line (from an auxiliary source of course) into your tailpipe somehow, like in the axle-back? Isn't it still hot enough back there to burn the oil into smoke?

Need is a funny word. I may just want something but at some point of my life I may need it. Kinda like saying "it can't get any worse" it'll get worse because you said it couldn't.

And remember, Just because you are not parinoid doesn't mean they are not after you........

I have too many stories of being followed to elaborate on here. My last job even had security (using two vehicles) follow me after they let me go. Made them because they sucked, but at first I didn't know who they could be. If I'd had the smokescreen back then I would've had even more fun with them. Dumbasses let me go just before the plant closing (and gave me full severence etc) because I backed up my book on the network (and they found it offensive). What I never got was, they must have read it and if they did, why the hell did they send incompetents to follow me? They obviously don't retain what they read.

I got followed by an early 90's pontiac after a relatively scary road rage situation. I was scared that he was going to follow me home. Was trying to be sneaky about it too. I showed him!

With the way my road rage is going I feel sorry for the sucker that follows me home.

I have a pretty good temper now, sometimes. PTSD, maybe I should look into getting some meds?
