Timing Belt Jumped on Friends EA82

Post by A_DuB »

I've been helping a friend work on his Loyal Wagon to replace the timing belt cause he thought that it may have jumped a tooth or two, turns out one of his sprockets ate it and its about 140 degrees off. Now he's not sure weather or not its worth fixing or parting he's concerned that the valves may have touched the pistons. Is this possible with an EA82 :?:
