I have a 92 Legacy turbo(Canadian version) 5spd with 3.900 rear diff. ratio.
Some how the rear diff making big noise and I am thinking to replace the whole diff. Since the car don't come with LSD but I would like to do an upgrade to have an LSD, but in US/Canada, its hard to find a LSD diff in 3.900 gear ratio. I have a chance to get a WRX(GC8) rear diff with LSD but in 4.444 ratio, can I take the GC8 LSD and make it into my 3.900 diff?
Does anyone done this before?
Any one selling their 3.900LSD diff please let me know!

I have converted many 3.70 LSD's to 3.90 but never a 4.44. The only way to tell would be to open it up and check the bolt pattern and ring gear diameter, if no one else replies.
