what kind of parts do you guys really want??
seriously, what do you want??? i know you guys are a bunch of cheapskates so i want to cater to you.
so, tell me what you want and ill try to help you out.
possible stuff, intercooler cores, oil cooler kits, tranny cooler cores, short shifters (wrx), gtspec style headers, blow off valves, full coilovers (basic, no tophats), under driven pullies, full rear lateral link sets, ect ect.
btw, these are not name brand at all. but their not cheap in quality either. many times products are made by one company sold by many. as the case with the gtspec header.
a few possible future items are rotated mount garret kits (up and down pipes with oil lines, you pick your own turbo) and front mount kits built for the legacy. cutting required of course. these two items are only possible if i can gaurntee intrest and if i can get them mass produced at a low enough cost.
the fist rule of business is give the people what they want. so people, what is it that you want!?!?!?!

I'll want a big bar & plate FMIC about the size of our radiator, 2.75" openings on the endtanks, and possibly coilovers in a few months... and will be close enough to visit SLC when the time comes. I'll rig up my own piping, though. If you can offer some sharp 90 degree and 45 degree couplers of those sizes I would also purchase those from you.
And I'm sure that list isn't complete yet.
I'd always rather support the cottage industry than the big guys when the compromise isn't too significant.

An low-fab FMIC kit would be cool for people like me with time constraints.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Legacy ss intake would be a great item, as no one makes one.
Coilovers, definatelly.
Top mount intercoolers that fit, like the Forrester model.
Hoodscoops.
Front mount would be cool, although it isnt bolt in, and you'll have to spend a lot of time talking people through the install.
Cool cheap gauges.
im not sure on prices on anything but the front mount cores but we are looking into various things such as front mount kits that will work on the legacy as well as coresponding intake systems.
as for off the shelf products now most of it will be things that move off shelves for the more popular imports in order to create the capital to persue thoes front mount kits.
there are other things we are looking into as well, of course catering more to the new subaru market but they are items we can all use. such as pitch stop mounts, fender braces and rear subfames.

How about ditch/skid plates?
What kinda suspension adjustment range will the coilovers likely have? How much above stock will I be able to raise and how much below stock will I be able to drop?

Sway bars. For teh cheap.
Rear camber plates for teh cheap would be cool too.
Good quality Stainless Brake Lines.
I'd like a front mount kit that is designed to work with the stock airbox, or at least a pipe kit offered.
Some gangster beefy knurled pedals so your feet don't slip. Put fucking nails in them, I don't care.
Skid plates would definately be a benefit. I'd buy one.
Oh, and a harness bar for the Legacy would be slick.

swaybars are a definit possibility, havent gotten the price list on thoes or the sizes but they are avaible. rear camber plates not so much. most of the items we are looking to manufacture are pretty basic. brake lines a deffinte possiblitiy. front mount kit will be designed around the airbox for the legacy as no one likes my small intake filter and a bigger filter isnt possible the way i have my pipes. intake kit will also most likely be offered. pedals will be looked into. maybe make them look like thoes nasty bmx pedals that tore up my shins oh so many years ago. ill think about doing a skidplate, i dont have a car that i could make one on as a sample to be produced.BAC5.2 wrote:Sway bars. as for coilovers, im not sure. they look bascily like tein basics. i wont know what exactly the range is until i try them.
also, i dont want to say too much too soon and get everyones hopes up. also the manufacturer is not a big name but rest assured i wont sell anything of theirs that i havent tried myself on my own car.

Jason - The camber plates for the Legacy would be the same as the Camber plates for a GC chassis Impreza.
Get me some of those.

yes the fmic piping will be compatible with the intake, but the fmic will be compatible with the stock box as well.
phil, i realize this but rear camber plates as far as i could tell were not avaible from the company we are working with. and if i want to produce rear camber plates id have to get some from someone who makes them in order to design my own. cheap is also a realative term. for more of the higher end stuff we are trying to get made out of material that is light and strong and just plain pimp to have. (no its not carbon fiber)
i dont want everyone to get there hopes up because a few parts are still speculation and some other need to be tested. we're just doing the american dream. getting somethign done with a list in one hand and a coupple bills in the other.

Jason, once I get out there, I could bring one of my Scoobys out to you for skid plate measurements and fitment if you still need it.
