O2 check
how do you know if the O2 sensor is working properly. I've done alot of searching on here but didn't find a way to check it, only people talking about replacing it or what have you. my engine idles fine its just when I do full throttle runs and I get into high rpm's the engine just feels like shit. it makes so much noise like its making power but nothing happens. I have the 8 lbs of boost but nothing really is going on. I changed the air filter, plugs and wires and it seemed to help a little but I'm still not sure its right. The seriously pulls less than a N/A at this point...

One way to check the sensor is to simply disconnect it, reset the ECU, and see how the car runs. If it runs better, the sensor was likely to be at fault.
The usual check for the sensor is to watch its signal and the fuel trims when the engine is idling in closed loop. The signal should bounce around above and below 0.5 volts, and the fuel trims should be fairly moderate, like +/- 10% or less.
You're sure there's no intake leak?

no I'm not sure, I'll spray some starting fluid around and see what happens.vrg3 wrote:You're sure there's no intake leak?
