Hey there, my ej20 turbo engine idles fast most of the time, some times it idles normally (700) but most the the time is round 1000/1100. It does it when warmed up and ive also fiddled witht the idle control valve and with it twisted round as far as it goes still a bit fast. runs rough when i unplug the idle control sensor, so must be ok.
Appreciate suggestions

It could be the IAC is sticking open. Not sure though. My idle was really high after swapping in a new EJ22T but it seemed to calm down over time and with a little adjustment on the TPS.
