Just got my bottom end back from the balance guy, Mr. Blackwell. I walk in and he asks, "I don't suppose it'd be a problem if I had to charge you less." Of course I'm like, "If your gonna twist my arm..." So anyways, $75 said and done. That included the pressure plate and flywheel. He said the crank was perfect and didn't need to be touched. He took a little bit off each rod, and I could see where he ground a bit off the pressure plate. I couldn't tell if he touched the pistons, but since they were within .5 grams from Wiseco, I doubt he did.
Now all I need to do is bring my crank back down to the machine shop so they can clean it up, and have them order my main bearings. Then I'll be able to put this baby together, and free up some workbench space. Holla.

yeah scoobie cranks are so small I can't imagine you'd ever have to take a lot off. Out of ballance and harmonic vibrations are just not an issue for these motors.
Now on my Toyota inline 6, that's a whole nother story.
