shifter bushings
Anyone kno where to find some harder than stock shifter bushings? so far i havent been able to find any that werent coupled with a short shifter

I understand your need. Shifters are not the strong suit of these cars... Mine is so bad, I looked under the car and would you believe I have a bushing missing. I have a short-throw shifter on the way, though...
I think Cusco makes harder shifter bushings... however I'm not the connection master... I imagine someone will post something about where you can get some.

Subaru retails their short shift kit which i think is the best one out on the market. Since you've got an older style car, you'll need the adapter linkage with it.
The price is a bit steep at about $320 last i checked, but it comes with all the bushings and the whole shifter assembly.
