After a lot of procrastinating, I finally got around to starting my audio swap/install in the turbo, and much to my chagrin, my Infinity Kappa Perfects didnt fit in the factory spot. FHI decided to put those trunk springs right in the middle of the speaker holes so anything deeper than those stocks is gonna hit... So I made a new speaker deck. The pics you see here are how it is now, this weekend I'm gonna skim coat it with bondo to smooth it, and paint it.
bought some 1/4" MDF, cut out the pattern, made the raised speaker trim rings, covered it and layed the resin, reinforced the slopes with fiberglass weave, and mounted it up.

The back 2/4 screws are still a pain to get at. I have a 90*-ratcheting screwdriver that makes it a lot easier. I think it came out pretty good for a first shot at fiberglassing like that.... I would recommend using a fabric that stretches well in both directions.

Finished... after much procrastination I finally got around to finishing up the rear deck. I used a few skim layers of bondo, but couldnt get it smooth enough for my liking, so i went with a layer of textured paint, and topped it with a satin black. I went that way to match the interior color and to keep glare down.
The Infinity Kappas combined with the new angled position sounds fantastic. I am really happy with how it came out and how it sounds.
