Dog Mesh attachment

Post by FamilyMan »

I've just bought a 96 Legacy GTB, really pleased, but when I pull up the built-in dog mesh, there is nothing on the middle of the ceiling to slot it into. What am I missing, and where can I get one? I have the left and right slots but where the 2 dog meshs meet in the middle there is just a flush plastic cap on the ceiling. Also, the right hand mesh has a pole in it with the discs on either end, but the left hand one is just a hollow pole, almost as though it's missing a pole through the middle of it. One of the reasons I bought the car was for the built in dog guard, but I was so excited when I picked it up, I forgot to actually check it attached to the ceiling. Help...

FamilyMan, sorry dude, you probably won't get a lot of help here. This forum is mostly for BF Legacys while your car is a newer generation and, sadly, us US drivers don't get dog mesh, we get metal compartment separators but nothing built in.

However with a quick search of the net I found this site, http://www.uklegacy.com/
Maybe they can help you out.
