Difference between LS and SS seats?

Post by jnorion »

I bought a set of SS front seats from adema2626 last weekend for very cheap. They're nice and supportive and the ride height is much better than the stock L seats I had, but the driver's side was apparently messed up when the original car got totaled and it leans permanently inward, and hurts my back driving with it. I need to replace that one, but the passenger side is fine.

What is the actual difference between the SS and LS seats? I get the impression from what I've read that it's just cosmetic... they both have height adjustment, they both have side bolsters on the back but not much on the bottom (right?), neither has the adjustable headrest that the LSI has... am I missing anything? It would be a lot easier to find a new seat if I could get either type, I don't really care about them matching in looks because I'm going to put covers on them anyway.

Thanks

The front to back adjustment? I know they go up and down, but the LSI at least also moves forward. I thought they were the only ones that had that.
