How to remove driver side mirror?

Hi, i need to remove the mirror, to get to the gasket because i get wind noise from there, so im trying to get off the mirror but it wont budge, i dont know how to force it off without damaging it so help is well appreciated thanks.

All you have to do is take the triangular trim piece off the inside of the car, and remove the three philips screws that hold the bracket to the support frame.

After those screws are out, there's a clip holding it on that should be in the same area (middle of the triangle, IIRC).

You will have to take the door panel off as one of the screws is under it. There's a screw at the top of the handle under a foam piece, a screw under the armrest under a plastic pop-off, and three screws around the speaker grille. Then pop it off from the bottom.

FYI, use a C-clamp to clamp the gusset for about 30 seconds and you should be all set for about nine months. My wind noise is starting to come back though.
