If I were to swap an EJ22t into my N/A without the turbo, all I would have to do is swap the intake manifold harness, correct? I would swap crossmembers for future use, too,

EJ22t running N/A
I just want to clarify:
If I were to swap an EJ22t into my N/A without the turbo, all I would have to do is swap the intake manifold harness, correct? I would swap crossmembers for future use, too,
but to just get it running that's all I need?

Some after thought - Unless you plan on turbo'ing the motor later on, it might not be worth the trouble. The motor will probably produce less power than your n/a. It will have lower compression b/c of the pistons...
If you are going to be turboing the motor, or you are going to take off the turbo, might I suggest just installing it as is, and finding a ej22t ecu. I read somewhere on this board that all you need to convert is to run a few extra wires for a few things....

I run my 22T as NA for now, and it's not bad.
compression is lower, gas mileage is through the floor, but power is about the same, you lose a few horses, torque is still there.
you need to cap the oil and coolant lines for the turbocharger, as well as the turbocharger oil drainback.
you can use the NA ecu without any modification, in the future if you want to run a stock 22T setup you need an aftermarket ecu (my choice) or to find a stock 22T ECU from a junkyard or wherever.
For that to work, you've got to move the position of the crank and cam angle sensor pins and run a wire for the MAP sensor.
I get about 180 miles to the gallon in the city, and anywhere from 250 to 300 on the highway depending on how it's driven.
you do need to keep your foot in the throttle though, if you pussyfoot it then you'll start having carbon buildup problems

You need the n/a crossmember if running n/a.
The turbo crossmember doesn't have the raised portions for the exhaust manifold to pass by.
