If you go to look to get new springs, why are they always advertised as like "91-99 Legacy" when we know that there's the difference of the tapered and non tapered rear springs?
I've looked at Intrax, HnR, Eibach, and they all do it. The only exeption to this rule seems to be Whiteline, but that's just because you usually see a picture of the actual springs. All the other companies use just stock photos so they keep you guessing!
So what's a guy to do besides get some of these springs and chance getting screwed? (granted, you could buy the proper top spring perch and top mount if necessary, but you shouldn't have to!)
Same thoughts for those 02-04 impreza springs. Don't those guys have the same problem as us?
I do want to lower my car a little, but since I have the non tapered rears, the only way I feel safe about doing this is just getting some 02-03 stock springs for my 92-94 suspension, and hope it lowers it enough for my liking.
Supid companies and their disregard for proper product application.
