Can I use these?

All from a 92 SS: Aluminum MAF, TPS and coil and ign module...on my 91 SS?

Yes they all are the exact same. Are you swapping just the TPS or the throttle body? If you can just do the whole thing since the position of the TPS is calibrated and is very hard to get correct once removed.

As long as they have the same part numbers, and they should, then yes you can use them on your '91

That was sort of a test. Answer this: Why does my ECU tell me I have the incorrect MAF...its from a 92.
Could this be in conjunction or due to the failure of the coolant sensor? How about the knock sensor.

As far a MAF's go there are two that went to the BC and BF legacies. One is Plastic (Jecs) and the other aluminum (Hitachi IIRC). All Aluminum mafs work in place of another aluminum maf and all plastic mafs should work in place of the plactic mafs for all BC/BF legacies. Plastic and Metal MAFs can even be swaped with the right wiring change (its pretty simple).

When it comes to helping you with a problem the more information you give us the better. What codes are strored in the ECU, what is the car doing, how is it running, have you tried to reset/clear the ECU to get rid of the codes?

If you need any help just let us know. We like to keep as many BC/BF's on the road as possible. ;)

One other thing...as far as the TPS goes. If you can avoid touching it then AVOID it. The trottle bodies and TPS on these cars are pretty touchy.

I wasnt sure if you had seen any of my ther posts.
The car over heated due to a coolant leak. Under operating temp it is fine. I can boost it. It revs fine drives fine, with only a slight loss in power over normal. Once I reach operating tempurature it all goes toi hell. I can give enough throttle to reach - 4 vacuum or so then it sputters and falls on its face. Like fuel cut.
ECU says the following:

Code 1: 1 1 1 1 5 = Code 45: Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Faulty
(I knew that because I accidentally broke the vac nipple off of it yesterday.. Rolling Eyes )

and/or

Pressure sensor and pressure exchange solenoid valve Faulty sensor or pressure exchange solenoid valve inoperative

Code 2: 1 1 1 1 9 = Code 45: Improper MAF
(this is the one I just bouht from americanyouth)

Code 3: 1 1 1 or 1 1 2 = Code 21 or 22. I can't tell because it flashes so fast: Knock Sensor or Water Temp Sensor faulty or reading abnormalities

Code 4: 1 1 3 = Code 23: Air flow sensor. Abnormal voltage input entered from air flow sensor.

I am on the road to fixing a few of these this week.
I have a new coolant sensor and manifold gaskets, and I am fixing the coolant leak.

Definitley replace the coolant temp sensor and clear the ecu. See what happens. I am pretty sure that it should solve your problem.

*Just make sure you reset your ECU*

If you still have problems with fuel cut when you are entering boost than I would try testing the pressure exchange solenoid. If this is bad then the ECU will cut fuel in boost. I had this same problem when I did my first EJ22T swap. There is a way to test the pressure exchange solenoid but if it test out fine and you still have the problem I would see if I could find a known good one one here really cheap.
