Knock sensor replacement?

Post by internetautomart »

why is it I can't find a howto page on it?
or at least some better pictures on how to do it.
maybe I'm just spoiled, but I'm used to nice complete detailed How-tos on non-routine stuff. A knock sensor to me is not routine (it's been years since I needed to do one, didn't do it though)

because it is very easy to do. There is one bolt that goes through the knock sensor and secures it to the engine. I think its a 10mm. When you get that out you just need to disconnect the wire connector.

You might have to move some parts to get to it. But its pretty straight forward. If you are wondering where it is, its somewhere under the intake manifold on the driver's side.
