New disks and pads :(

Hey!

I've just been out for a spin when I slowed down to stop at some lights my steering wheel was shaking like mad, then tonnes of smoke poured out from my left wheel....... Pooo looks like I melted my disks, can anyone recommend a good make!!! all I ask is that they have solid braking straight from cold and arn't made by mintex

Any advice will be greatly appreaciated

Whats it like when you pull away in the morning? do you have fully functioning brakes or do they have to warm them up.

Are you in the UK, how much did they cost?
