Adding Subaru Genuine Keyless entry

Post by NuclearBacon »

So i just added a keyless entry module to my parents 2000 Yukon, and literally it was this black box that snapped on top of the ECU, and you hold the keyfobs down and poof! that was it

i was curious about adding keyless entry onto my Legacy (92 touring wagon) and if it has a similar option? mine has no keyless entry as it sits, and then i thought about how i dont have a power lock on my drivers door (that i know of)

just curious if anyone has added it (besides adding an alarm)

thanks!

just go to an alarm place and get both at the same time. Should lower your insurance rate a bit having the alarm.

They will install a solenoid on only the driver's door. Because of the way the central locking system works, it only takes on solenoid to unlock or lock all doors. Aftermarket systems for these cars work the same way.
