Hi all
After fiiting my adjustable bleed boost valve,£15 and initially seeting it up to take 11.56 psi I decided to go a little further, I have opened it alot more but for some reason it refuses to go any higher and it's probably my imagination but now my car seems to go slower when the boost cuts in !!!!
whats up with that? looking at the gauge needle it zooms up to 11.56 then jumps back a bit, oh yeah I have got the gauge/bleed valve connected to the turbo nipple could this be something to do with it........maybe my pipes are too skinny to handle the flow?
cheers
John
PS Dave, any news about you selling me that boost gauge?

The gauge really needs to be on the manifold. The turbine pressure
can be 5+ pounds HIGHER than what it really is. Air does compress
and cool a bit from the turbo to the intake manifold.
The gauge is for sale still, if you want to pay shipping cross-
atlantic. I'm certain you can find one over there that'll do the job
without the extra price! I've also got a Manual Boost Controller
that i could send along, if you want the "real" thing

Hey you cheeky sod! my adjustible boost controler is the real thing
I paid a whopping £15 ($20) at that price you can only expect the purest quality that I am accoustomed to0.
I have done a search for VDO gauges and found nout in the UK, maybe I haven't looked hard enough but then I did spend 4 hours looking and ringing around :O
If you give me the area in USA you are from I can check up with DHL/Fedex and see if it is as bad a cost as you think, I'm sure it will only be a couple of dollers
anyways how much do you want for the gauge ? bearing in mind I have 16 kids and 10 ex wives
cheers

Boost stuck on 11.56 bar
You silly man!
I live in Ogden, Utah. Zip code is a relative number given to all
areas of the United States and it's territories.
The gauge pod is what the gauge is housed in. The gauge came as
that, just the gauge meant to be installed in a pod or panel. The
pod surrounds the gauge so it can be mounted.
