Better flowing heads for a 94 SS

Post by EtchyLives »

If I were to want to put new heads on my 94 Legacy SS, which ones would end up being having the best balance of work/payoff? EJ25? SOHC or DOHC? WRX? EJ257 heads?

I already have a VF-8, WRX coolant tank, and JDM Slanty IC installed and I am looking at options for a future upgrade.

Thanks.

-Greg

P.S. Did a search. Didn't find the detailed info I was hoping I would find.

Do a better search Noob. The sticky has some really good info from Mark Rameriz (xephyr) as well as the thread by Napphappy that has been recently bumped onto the first page. Also look for stuff from Douglas Vincent. The short answer is the early DOHC Legacy or WRX (Ej20G or EJ20K) heads are the easiest conversion.
