ECU codes

Post by 2fo@altavista.com »

Have just completed the ECU tests on my wife's '93 Legacy L wagon
with 124,000 on it. With the black test leads connected I got a
reading of 32 (O2 sensor inop). Now the test with the green
connectors got a flashing light with no pattern other than a constant
flashing (no numeric flash). Now my questions. I did the check as
my wife says the check engine light had come on and went back off in
about a minute. She says this has happened several times in the last
few months (yeah like she could have told me a few months ago).
Anyhow, if the O2 sensor is bad, would the check engine light come on
and stay on? or would it come on then go out? Also, in the ECU
test I got from this board, it says the green connector test will
indicate a number, mine just flashed at a constant tempo. Is this
correct?

Any and all comments are appreciated. And thanks to all who
participate in this great site.
