manual ECU

Post by what huh »

ok im confused i was just reading a thread and they said that they are getting a 1992 ECU because they are the same when it comes to manual or auto.

Does that mean if im doing a auto to manual swap on my 1994 SS i need to get a manual ECU?
Or do i need to not connect a certain wire?

They were talking about non-turbo models.

Turbo ECUs are all interchangeable. You just need to cut the wire going to the Transmission ID pin.

+1 to what vrg3 said (like I really need to back him up on things to do with the ECU)
