So I am planning to remove the purge canister solenoid, canister, etc.
I live in Ontario, it doesn't get around 100 F vary often, half the year its about 32 F ...+ our cool evenings
Ive had beer in my trunk in mid August, no problem...I don't mind it warm.
it only seems to be hot IN the passenger compartment with the sun coming in the windows.... my point is my tank runs Kool...
To get this real estate freed up I have one question?
The Gas tank vent line?
should it be vented to atmosphere ,
( stick some filter material in the line, under the hood)??
or should it be mounted to throttle body to provide needed vacuum in tank?
Seems like I should know this but I can't come to a conclusion,
What happens if the tank is not able to make a vacuum?
What creates the vacuum?javascript:emoticon('')

I'm assuing you want the space where the canister is. Just plumb the line coming from the tank into the line going to the purge solenoid. You get the space, without having too much effect on the emissions and other devices.
The bad thing about this setup, you could get excess vapors building up in the tank when it sits......but it's better then completely removing it.
