Custom Exhaust Question

For the turbo owners who have had custom exhaust systems built (Matt,
Bill?) do you think the shop you had do the work would do another for
someone not local? I specifically would like the downpipe section
(separate pipes for turbine outlet and wastegate).

Hey Justin,

I get the feeling from your last two posts that you've either
reconsidered selling your turbo, or you have sold it and you're
looking for parts for someone.

I hope it's the former

Anyway, it'd be nice to live somewhere that didn't do emissions
testing. A 2.75=3" cat-back is in store for me.

Justin, Rallispec ( www.rallispec.com ) did mine and they actually
said they would like to get mine back down their so they could make
some copies for a few Legacy owners who inquired about it. But, they
are EXTREMELY busy right now and I don't see that happening in the
near or distant future.

However, you may be in luck. I believe Adam Bloom( quickest RS in the
country) has his turbo RS down there right now awaiting a STi Version
IV motor install. They are going to make him a new downpipe with a
seperate pipe for the wastegate(probably dumping to the atmoshpere),
so now would be as good as time as any to possibly have them make a
copy while they are making his. I couldn't tell you what they'd
charge for just the downpipe, but I can just about guarentee that it
would rival the best of the best in the world of downpipes It's
worth a shot.
