auto to 5spd

hey guys new to the forum just about to purchase a 92 awd turbo legacy, wanna do a 5spd swap on it cuz im not down with the auto. couple questoins
1. how easy is it to source parts for the swap and what do i need?(in canada)
2. what trannys will work, and how hard of a swap is it
3. has anyone heard of pulling the front drive shaft to make a rwd?(wanna drift it for a little bit)
