Engine light was on now off?

K. This is a odd problem i just got. My engine light has been on for about a month because a code 35, And i have some cluster lights out.

So i fixed my cluster lights and now my engine light is out?????
The bulb is fine not dead in any way! And now the car just drinks gas like a Mother F^(%. Not very happy i am.

Any suggestions?

Code 35 Canister purge solenoid valve Solenoid valve inoperative.

Wondering if that should be replaced? Try unplugging the battery for about 1 hour. Also once unplugged push the brake pedal. Then, connect everything again and let the car idle till it warms up then go for a drive normally see if the light comes on.

Right before you start the car but the ignition switch is on, do you see the check engine light comon so you can verify the light is fine?

K. I just removed the negative side of the battery and that seemed to do the trick? Kinda odd but it sure worked tho.

I found disconnecting the battery didn't work for me.

I had to connect both black and green connectors under the dash, then drive the car for a couple minutes to reset my ecu.
