Hi all,
I'm new to the group and am considering a Legacy Turbo as my daily
driver and autocross car. I've been reading all the posts and am
excited that there are so many parts available to the cars. A real
change from my Mazda Protege that I race now, and it will be great to
be back in an AWD car again.
I'm wondering if the VIN numbers will tell me if a car is the turbo
model and if it's a 5-speed? Most dealers only post VIN numbers or
their descriptions are just plain wrong and this is a sure way to
tell if it's what I want.
thanks,
tom

VIN numbers?
VIN's on Subarus are pretty easy to de-crypt. However, my manuals are at home or on loan right now so you'll have to be patient until I can get my hands on them.

P.S. Jason G, how's the engine install going?
