Sedan doors on a wagon?

My drivers doors are damaged, and I found a sedan that is the same color, will the doors work? I have tried searching and I only found a post stating the windows are different.

Did subaru change the variance on the colors? I have the dark burgandy and I wonder if the colors will be close?

Sorry if the topic has been covered before, the search function doesn't help much.

I would think the front doors are the same....

I'm pretty sure the rear doors are the same too except for the glass, as you stated. As for color, as long as the trim codes match you should be safe. That is, as long as your car and the donor car's paint are faded the same amount, or not at all.

There can be a fair amount of variance within what is technically the same color on any given car even when brand new. It'll be a crap shoot, but my guess is that a even if the color's off a touch it would look better than the damage you have. You'd be up against the same issue if you were trying to paint doors to match your car. Side note, if you've never changed or adjusted the door glass in a Subaru you're in for a treat, there's a ton of adjustment invloved.

I recently replaced the front clip on the wife's code 955 Bermuda Blue (light blue) wagon with matching paint code parts, and there is a slight shade difference(the new stuff is SLIGHTLY darker). It could be one car was garage or carport kept and the other was kept outside, or it could be just a different batch of paint.

Eitehr way it looks so much better than it did with 058 Majestic Blue (dark blue) sheetmetal on it, but the dark sheetmetal kept her on the road until I could fing then matching parts rather than pay for a complete respray. ($200 vs a Maaco $600 and up production respray).
