hey guys im going to be selling my old legacy which has the JDM steering wheel, and buying a new one with the stock wheel. can anyone let me know how to remove the stock one without setting off the bags?

ok fist disconnect the negavtive side or just unplug the whole battery. let it set for atleast five minutes or 15. maybe extreme over kill but what the heck. this should keep the air bag from thinking it is in a crash. it says it in the manual perhaps as well in a haynes manual for sure. then you need a sterring wheel puller. after you take the front cover off the wheel you should see 1 bolt i believe
