Checked Timing. One wire flashes slower???

Post by Slow Hatch »

Put the timing light on, and just figured I'd throw it on every wire. Now I just noticed that the rear pass. side wire wasn't flashing as fast as the others. Is this normal, or could possibly causing my hesitation?? Thanks

Not normal. Try swapping the wires around and see if the condition re-occurs.

Slower or inconsistant? The light will only flash when it detects a pulse in the wire. So it's either your coil going out, wire is not connected or going bad, or your plug is bad.
