I've never heard of them, all the H&R stuff i've seen is at least
1.5". Whiteline has some Legacy springs that lower about 1" or so,
and they're pretty cheap too, if not baby blue.

I have the H&R springs with V5 struts. It lowers the car about an 1"

How do those work for you? Do you notice any poor

For the surfaces I have driven so far, I really like it. The setup
may not work with a wagon, but on a sedan it feels better than
stock. But the stock struts I had were leaking so I really can't
compare it.
No sloppiness (?) felt. Something I was anticipating before the
install.

To the best of my knowledge they are conical. At least on the FWD models, I would assume AWD to be the same, just a tad stiffer spring & rate

I have just bought some springs to lower my liberty 1.5". Its front wheel drive. Question. Do I need to get a camber kit for the front or the back or will the original camber adjustments work fine.

I have just bought some springs to lower my liberty 1.5". Its front wheel drive. Question. Do I need to get a camber kit for the front or the back or will the original camber adjustments work fine.

Go for King Springs. You will have to check the rear as there is 2 sizes. 1
size is for the RS. Lovels are no where near the quality for the subi.

To my knowledge, Whiteline is the only company that has springs that have been designed for the FWD models. I have a FWD as well. I will probably be seriously looking into getting these springs some time this summer.
I know Teague's Auto carries the springs. You might be able to find them cheaper some place else. Check out some of the vendor info on my site www.surrealmirage.com/subaru

Having just bought my Legacy, I am gathering parts this week as a some basic
upgrades..have a few questions:
1. Suspension - is tehre a Legacy Turbo specific part number for KYB struts,
or do I jsut use one for a 2.5RS/GC8? Are the AGX's worth the extra cash (I
am a dealer), or do they not work great on this car)..I know on many cars,
they are not valved too great, and are not really worth the extra cash (I
found my GVR4 to be like this).
2. Springs: aside from H&R, are there springs specifically for the Legacy
turbo (what is the chassis code again?) Can I use springs intended for a
Gc8? anyone have experience with Tein Springs for this car, or Eibach...we
are a dealer for both
3. Swaybars and strut braces: I figure Whiteline is the way to go for
swaybars, but want ones that are the best fitting (sometimes, Whitelines haev
minor fitment issues). How about strut braces? Will the front from a GC8
fit? How about the lower arm braces, like the Cusco Type 2 (the H shaped
one)...does it fit? I figured it would as the WRX model GC8 and Legacy Turbo
share a x-member, but just want to be sure
Thanks guys!

I have my legacy turbo running KYB AGX struts paired with whiteline legacy
select springs (these are one of the few springs made for our car). The
setup works very well and i have no complaints as of yet. Was also pleased
with the amount the springs lowered my car. Only about 1-1.5 inches, just
enought to make it look better and get it a little closer to the ground for
handling but not enough to be scared of monster speed bumps.
my 2 cents...
