looking a a new engine for mylegacy turbo sedan

Post by yazmo »

yeah i am shoppingaround, so i just come here since i know you guy know everything
went its come to this.

What would be thje easiest and relatively cheap engine swap as an alternative.

i found this but i dunno what i would be involve too and if its work too.

http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-autos-et-ve ... Z313557959.

can i keep my current setup transmission dif etc... and just use a new engine with new injector wideband etc...
i have 2 shell of a legacy turbo sedan. one with a missing engine "got on fire after swiching a coil pack"
and the second one i drive it daily but as a very big probleme with the iac valve, and i also got hit by a women
so the hood light, and crush, but the good news is that i had them rdy for my first legacy, so there are in a box brand new. with new fender etc..

i just dont know if i just swap one of mine but the engine already as 287000km and its as been running badly for a couple month now, i menage to drove the car even eith the eratic idle and faulty suspension.

i was already gathering part for a tune up,

i have 440 cc injector, front intercooler, jacs maf, i had a diamond ciol pack but he burn out with the engine
i also have a wideband and fuel ratio gauge and a electronic boost controller, jdm fog, mopstly a most important engine gasket rdy and new timming belt kit,, magnacore wire, few sensor and so on.

so i just dont know what do i do scrap all of this, and pass on something news, or find a cheap alternative

I think the engine in the first link would probably be more easily fit due to its similarities to the existing engine, but others may have some additional feedback.

and i can only find ej22 non turbo here the closest its about 180km away and its a complete car.
i call scrap yard here and all they have is a non turbo.

yeah i saw those 3 already i almost make the second link one ship by my door for 485$

but the guy told me i would need a master cylinder and change break since the car as not been moving
mine probably seeesing too its been like 6 month i dont move it have break were new

that a hard decision bcuz i have so many brand new part here and im just asking myself if i want to go into all this
i love the car in winter its just awesome

i just dont know the white one as low mile so yeah for a rebuild that would be my first choice
that why i came here and ask what other engine can go on my t-leg maybe i can find something else around here
