Took out my intake manifold this weekend to replace a leaky coolant line. Got everything back together, started it and the check engine light is on. Connected the green connectors to check the code, pulls up 23 for the MAF. Car runs fine, idles fine, doesn't seem to be getting any worse mpg than before.
I have checked and rechecked all the connections and for any intake/boost leaks.
Any help would be awesome.

Re: Code 23 help
Use the black connectors only to check for stored codes. See what you get from the black connectors first. I suspect the code from the green connectors may be a false positive.
The car wouldn't run properly with a bad MAF.

Re: Code 23 help
problem solved, the inner IAC gasket wasn't seated properly. Everything is fine now.

Re: Code 23 help
Great news! Thanks for the update. Wonder how it still idled properly with a bad gasket.
