code 35 canister purge valve inopperative

Post by crabmanjv »

Just wanted to give junkmanjim some kudos on his 2010 write up for purge valve assembly removal and installation for an ej22. Followed it to a T except I disconnected my air intake hose he was working around. Also I would suggest a liitle lithium grease on the outside of the male clip just incase you have to do it again. I tried a couple pull & save valve assemblies but they had weak resistance 0- 11 ohms. I bought a new one at partsgeek.com for 82 bucks no tax and free shipping. Was happy to see it 2 days later and a genuine subaru part. yahoo no more engine light !! I'm new to this club but not to subies. Best sube site around and I am addicted!!
