Damn PCV!

Post by SILINC3R »

So this damn PCV is making want to burn this car down and forget it. It's the one on the rear of the motor which is nearly impossible to put a hose that big back there plus the turbo is completely in the way and the there is the IAC in the way and then you can't get the intake on because of the PCV hose you put on because everything is in the fucking way.

Trying so hard to not start breaking things. Guess it's drinking time instead.

Tony,

I moved your thread.

The best option I've found is to use the hose for the turbo Legacy's IAC valve for that rear PCV port on the block. It is the best thing I've found to bring that out to the side so it can be run to a catch can or be brought back into the intake if you don't want to use a catch can.

This picture does a good job to show the hose.

That's is a good picture and I belive I still have that hose. Was trying to use but gave. I want to take the manifold off sometime so I can clean all that mess up.

The IACV hose is what I use there too. Its definitely one hundred billion times better than the stock pipe whether you're stock or not.
