Hey Sam
Any idea why your display shows your yahoo id and not your e-mail
address? do you know how to change this?

Question for Sam
Hmm...
<nutshell>
That's actually part of my e-mail setup, not my Yahoo! preferences.
</nutshell>
If you use Micro$oft e-mail (exchange, express, lOokout, etc) you can choose
to have a name, or identity for yourself. So when people get e-mail from you
it looks like "Sam Barrett" instead of your e-mail addy, which for me is
levathian@sprintmail.com - make sense? It's easier to identify people by
their "familiar" name.
If you want to change it go to: Start, Settings, Control Panel and dbl click
on 'mail' icon. Highlight the e-mail account you use, then select
preferences. That's where you can make the change - if you so desire.
*caution* write down what you intend to change, _before_ you fiddle around
with it. That way you can go back to the original setting if you endure
problems.
If you have AOL or some other crappy e-mail then you are in bondage - wether
you know it or not, and I will have no part of it!
)
I work as a end-user/helpdesk type person ITRW (I.n T.he R.eal W.orld) and I
have spent WAAAAaaaaayyy to many hours trying to help people "fix" their
AOL. I can't stand it. If you use it now PM me, and I can direct you to a 12
step program that will help you with your dependency. :oP
-Sambo
P.S. for everyone else, I appologize in advance for the spamming. I get this
question a lot, so I thought I'd pass the info along.

Question for Sam
That is interesting, my exchange server has my name in it, oh well
never mind. It works on all other yahoo sites except this one.
Cheers
