Hey I may have found a sunroof fix for the BC-BF Legacy. I have not
done this yet becuase it is way over my head (can't afford to fix my
mistakes either) and my body guy didn't want to mess with the
mechanics of it all so I need to bring it to an actual shop. But I
got this from a Technical Service Bulletin, the number escapes me
right now though. Anyway this is the jyst of the repair.
1. remove headliner
2. remove glass and motor assem.
3. remove rails that the glass slides on.
4. clean bottom of rails and seat area for rails in roof.
5. place some sort of sealant under the rails and re-seat in roof.
6. replace glass and headliner.
What the TSB said was the sealant under the rails would crack and
chip allowing water to seap into the car instead of going down the
normal route of the gutters in the A and C pillars. Maybe this will
help every one with wet towels on the seat.
