I find this very interesting, Only one of my Subaru's has trouble starting
and that is my new Subaru (automatic), and only first thing in the morning
on a cold morning. When I turn the key the car doesn't rev up to 1500-2000
rpm and hunts for about 5 seconds then revs up to where it should if it
hasn't stalled. If it turn the key to the start position and hold it there
for about 1 second longer the car starts fine.

I wonder if this problem mainly a problem with auto Subarus, as my manual
Subaru has never had this problem. I know of so many auto cars that do this
or stall when they are being put in gear.

Dan
