Need help to figure out vacuum hose locations

I was wondering if anyone could help me with something. I have a 90
Legacy. I replaced the purge valve. I did not pay attention to the
location of the vacuum hoses that went to valve. When I put the new
valve on, I am not sure which hose connected to which port on the
valve.

Can you check on your car? The purge valve is located under the
intake runner on the passenger side on the engine. There are two
ports on the valve that are pointing toward the back of the engine.
The port on the bottom of the valve I believe connects to the charcol
canister. The port on the top connects to the intake runner next to
the throttle body. Is this correct?

Any help would be much appreciated.
