You just missed a good slipping auto trans thread about 2 weeks ago. I also have an auto that was slipping. I suggest you start by finding a dealer that has an auto trans diagnostic computer. Not all dealers have them. If you can get the trans diagnosed, you'll have a better foundation to make a decision about what to do next. Could be anything from a trans service for a few bucks to a new trans for a few grand. Then you'll know whether to start looking at rebuilders and salvage yards.
