White gauges

Post by -K- »

Hey I found this on the RS site. I know someone was asking about them here.

Yeh, Ive got those installed on my suby. I love em. They look awesome at night and compliment the blue parts of my interior very well.

There was also a Legacy Turbo wagon in Colorado that had white faced gauges. The ones he had were only the actual gauges though, not the entire face like the ones shown at ProCarParts.com. I never met the guy who had them, I just saw his car at JC Sports one day while I was there. He also had a one off intake that they designed for him. It really is too bad they went under, contrary to what other people say. Anyways, I'm not too stoked on the ones at procarparts, I'd much rather have ones similar to the 2.5 RS.

I am thinking of fabricating a stainless steel bezel to make them look more like the RS ones. I do agree with you, but these are all I could find.

I know, and I'm sure they look pretty good as is. I just wouldn't want to fork over the money or go to the trouble of installing them when I really want something else that isn't available. JC Sports made the ones that were in the wagon that I saw. Again, too bad they're gone.

How hard were those white/indiglo gauge setups to install? I'd really like to put in my 91 turbo...
Thanks

Those gauges go on ebay for around $25 all the time. I never could decide if i would like the 'reverse' glow. I think the would be awesome if they didn't have the glowing green circles in the middle of the gauges.

I think I want these white gauges, although I don't really like the way they look in the day, I don't really like the stockers either, and these look way better at night. I'm just wondering, does the lighting look as good really installed on the car as it does on that website that was posted?
Thanks
Micum
Oh yeah, and tell me again how hard it is to take of my dash and open up the instrument cluster?
