hmmmm that could be it, cause sometimes it goes off and back on when im driving... ill check that!

yup that happens to me too. when the pads start to get worn it comes
on and i put a little fluid in and bingo!! i thought you were having
direct problems with the ebrake, not just the brake light in general.
