Solid Pitch-Stop Mount?

Post by Brat4by4 »

I ordered all of my STi engine and tranny mounts. They came in and are sitting in my room. I decide I might as well look at doing the pitch-stop mount myself. Lo and behold, I don't have the normal plastic OE mount that they show in the pictures... it's solid metal! I have a '93.

Has anyone heard of or seen this type of pitch-stop mount? Where the plastic should be it is a 1/2" diameter round piece of metal. I think I am going to put the STi one in anyways for the brand new bushings... I am actually at kind of a loss on which to keep. Well I guess I'll have an open call for either part. Let me know if you want the STi mount or the solid metal one. I'll try to get a pic of the metal one soon.[/img]

I've got the metal one as well. I would assume the metal one is more rigid....bushings would be the only downside to the old ones.
